Pet peeve when dining out?

Why do waiters clear the table before everyone is done eating? I'm always the last to finish and I feel very uncomfortable eating when my plate is the only one on the table. Is this wrong for a waiter to do?

Where can a 14 year old get a first job?

I am 14 and need a summer job. I need to earn money to help send me off to ITALY :D:D But unfortunately i'm going to have to earn it myself. What places would hire a 14 year old with no work experience?
(Oh and I'm a hard worker, straight A student. I'm not a bad kid or anything like that)
I was thinking McDonalds but does anyone have any other ideas?

WHY WOULD THE WENDYS DRIVE THROUGH EMPLOYEE DO THlS?

I WENT TO WENDY'S DRIVE-THROUGH, AND THERE WAS NOBODY ELSE THERE. WHEN I GOT TO THE WINDOW TO PICK UP MY FOOD, THE GUY TOLD ME TO PARK IN THE FRONT. THERE WAS NOBODY ELSE IN LINE SO I WASN'T GETTING OUT OF ANYONES WAY. SO I PARKED IN THE FRONT AND 40 SECONDS LATER HE CAME OUT WITH MY FOOD. WHAT POSSIBLE REASON WOULD HE DO THAT FOR?

What restaurants / lounges in NYC that don't necessarily card?

So, I'm 20, and I will be turning 21 soon but I am meeting a new acquaintance from Brazil who is over age and I just wanted to know of a few places that wouldn't card me because I just wanted to be able to order a drink with dinner without the embarassment of being turned down. I'm not trying to go crazy with anything, but I just want to order a drink being that he will most likely order one himself. Any suggestions? and Thank you in advance.

what are mcdonalds fries made of?

Don't tell me potatoes!.. I've justed watched a clip off of Super Size Me and after 10 weeks inside a untouched jar.. the fries remained nearly free of mold!.. while the fries from other another restaurant molded in 1-2 weeks. Ten points for a REAL SMART answer.

WHere should I go for dinner In LA?

If you're working in the biz now, or you used to, do you ever find yourself writing your grocery list with the same abbreviations you used to use when writing down orders?

Like Pots, Toms, HB, Am Ch, It, SC, WW, that kind of thing?

I just looked at my grocery list and after all these years I'm still guilty of it and my husband can't read it.

i mean seriosly if i have to see one more person look at me like im just trash becuase i give them thier food im going to let them know just how i feel about them...come on now i only make 2.25 an hour..and thats not enought to put up with people like that
