And remember those frozen yogurt machines in grocery stores? I remember in the 80's we had like 4 frozen yogurt stores in town, but now we have none. I found out TCBY is still in biz, but our's left. I think with obesity being the problem that it is, that frozen yogurt would come back in style. I eat ice cream and am slightly underweight trying to gain weight, but I prefer frozen yogurt to ice cream. Come to think of it, the Dairy Queen is the only ice cream store we have here. With our lax economy and everyone trying to cut costs these days, are stores serving mainly frozen treats finding it too hard to maintain sales year-round (thus closing)?

I grew up on this stuff in NJ, and in my opinion it was the best fast food, ever. Each time I've gone back home, there have been fewer and fewer, and I haven't been to a Roy's in maybe ten years. I know Hardee's bought them out, but are there any Roy Rogers restaurants left anywhere? Dang shame if not.

She never asks "more coffee?". She instead asks "more coffee, hun?".

Am I missing something? Am I supposed to be burning and pillaging the countryside?

Honestly Hooters seems to me like an Applebees with waitresses in shorts.

I don't find the outfits sexy --- it does not even bother me that my BF goes with his basketball team because 90% are only so-so looking too and when you look around the place is full of desperate guys thrilled that some waitress is paid to flirt with them. I find it kind of funny and the food is greasy and overpriced. $9 for a hamburger.....

Most restaurants in San Francisco have sexier bartenders and waitresses working at night and its not all brightly lit like a Denny's!

I know in Chicago, they don't put ketchup on hot dogs. And the hot dog board says that people 18 and over shouldn't put ketchup on their dogs. What do you think?

Cici's vs. Stevie B's

i get fast food about 6 or 7 times a week.... sometimes twice a day. i am pretty poor, so when the kitchen is dirty and i am hungry and grumpy, its very attractive to eat for $2.12 (2 items dollar menu) --- usually this is even cheaper than what i would prepare for myself at home. oftentimes, i take the food home and eat it with a salad since McFood has so little fiber. Taco-bell, wendy, and Mcdonald runs for snacks have replaced pizza (don't live close to the dolla-slice joint anymore) and take-out chinese (the place went out of buisness)

has anybody else been hooked on fast food because its cheap and convienient? how do i escape fast food? i am so hungry all the time, but it seems most americans can live without the glorious McChicken

Have you ever been so hungry and/or broke that you did bad things?

Like...... call taco bell and complain about how they messed up your food in the drive thru earlier that day........ and get like 2 combos free?

or want to go to the movies and while one person pays , the other person and their kid go through and say they have to pee and then you got in free.

or rented a movie, watched it immediately , and then bring it back and say it didnt work in your dvd player and get another movie for free.

I dont do these things really anymore...... but about 5 years or more ago i did it alot...... I'm starting to think about it now and feel guilty.

am i the only one?

If you are sitting at your table........ your waiter never refilled your drinks or brought your ticket and you had to get up and get your own to go boxes... because you dont even know where your waiter is after sitting there for 20 minutes looking around.

i have. I feel really bad, but what else was i supposed to do?

I've been to the beach in places like Outer Banks, North Carolina and Ocean City Maryland and Delaware and realized that all of the pizza in that area either really sucked or was run by a franchise (which means it still sucks). I think Jacksonville, FL is a cool place but are there really any good pizza joints in Jacksonville. I live in PA and every block has a pizza joint run by an old Italian guy with a great pizza recipe and I was wondering if that case is similar at all in Jacksonville, Florida.

Everytime someone wants to offend somebody they say "You must work at a fast food restaurant". OR.....say things like "If you fail at school your favorite saying will be".... "Do you want fries with that"? Why no respect? They work hard.
