Ever been to a fast food restaurant barefoot?

I'm almost always barefoot, and I can't remember the last time I wore shoes to a fast food restaurant. Only a minority of the ones I've been to have a sign regarding the prohibition of bare feet, and at those, most of the time they don't care anyway. Sheriam is right. There are NO State health. dept. regs banning bare feet in restaurants, nor is it otherwise illegal. There is ONE township in Massachusetts I read about that actually does prohibit bare feet in restaurants, but that's one city in the whole U.S. I travel a lot too, and I've been thrown out maybe 2% of the time. The VAST majority of folks simply don't care, or if they do, they keep their comments to themselves and do not bother me with their opinions. Be bare if you so wish, the feeling's great! :-)

Edit: Driving barefoot is NOT ILLEGAL in Ohio. Any cop in the state will tell you that.

I don't know how often fast food places wash their floors. I would never...

I go through the drive-thru once in a great while.
If it's during the summer, I don't drive with shoes...
So, I probably have been through the drive-thru without shoes.

Once, my friends and I drove through backwards.
We ended up losing a hubcap.
However, the manager came running out to pick up our hubcap and hand it to us.
He was laughing the whole time.

I don't go to fast food restaurants that often but when I do I always go barefoot. Here in the Netherlands, I have never seen a fast food restaurant (or any other kind) that had a sign saying it isn't allowed; including the US based chains like McD's and Burger King and the like. No one here cares. But even in the US, it's not against health department rules, please see source.

Ya! Barefoot at fast food restaurants is the only way to go!! I always go to McDonalds, Taco Bell, Burger King, and other fast food places barefoot. Sometimes they have the "no bare feet" sign, but I just ignore it. :-P

My feet get pretty dirty when I go barefoot to those places, but that's half the fun. Usually, I'll prop up my feet and show off my dirty happy soles!

I just got back from McDonalds about an hour ago, and my feet are pretty black. Good times. :-)

No I haven't; however, one time my sandals were soaking wet when I stopped at a fast food restaurant, because rained VERY hard, I wanted my sandals to dry so when I sat down at my table I was barefoot when I was eating, and I also walked to the soda fountain barefoot to refill my soda.

i never went inside a restaurant barefoot. I have through dirve thru but that doesnt really count cause you're in your car. lol

When I was little, my cousins and me walked to McDonalds, and I was the only one that was wearing shoes. Even though they got kicked out the first time, they kept coming back until nobody noticed that they were barefoot. They're stupid lol.
