Dining Out - December 2006

I'm scared. I just placed a delivery order with my local Chinese food restaurant and the total came to $27.80. I only ordered a large sweet n sour chicken, small egg drop soup, a large chicken lo mein, and 2 egg rolls. I'm not concerned about the money, but are the portions going to be huge? Pretty much just wondering, thanks.

Has anyone heard of a dresscode for family resturaunts? because last night me and my friends weren't allowed to be seated because of what some of us had on and they said they have a dress code yet is it posted for eye view and they refuse to show us in writting is that discrimination?

I have to eat at a really nice restaurant for the first time in my life. I'm talking about the kind where there are utensils on both sides of the plates and the waiter puts the linen in your lap for you. I do not want to embarrass myself or the people I am eating with. I'd appreciate any help.

I'm trying to find a supermarket that has carries rabbit in Manhattan. It's available in many restaurants around town and I really enjoy it but haven't been able to find it at any supermarkets. Freshdirect, Whole Foods and Food Emporium don't carry it. Will I have to end up getting it from the pet store?
