In-N-Out Burger. Hands down the best burger on the planet.

Homemade burgers and actual sit-down restaurants have the best burgers. As for fast food, Checkers has the best burger. The burgers at Burger King, Wendy's, and McDonald's are too thin and crappy.

Swenson's - a drive-in chain in Ohio. Consistently rated the best burgers in the country.

Other than that, Jack In The Box, White Castle, In-N-Out Burger (california and nevada), Harvey's (canada)

I do enjoy Sonic and Checkers/Rally's too although their quality is kind of hit and miss depending on the location! Also similar is Fast Eddie's in Ontario

Never heard of that chain in Kansas, I'll have to stop by next time I'm through there. I'd also like to try an Arctic Circle. I've had Whataburger, they're good too! They need to expand, so does Jack in the Box. Believe it or not, Del Taco has an alright burger!

For a little classier than fast fast food, Fatburger and Cheeseburger in Paradise. Used to have Fuddruckers around here but they all closed up! The build-your-own-burger concept was nice, while it lasted. I think they stole the idea from Roy Rogers' Fixin's Bar LOL

Hey... I know this one. Personally, my favorites are those by "Burger King" and "McDonalds" (can't get enough of old Big Mac). If you're living in America, there was an article in GQ magazine that listed the 20 best burgers to eat before you die, and Oprah Winfrey's best friend, Gayle, visited these places all over the country to taste the goods... and yes, they are indeed the best according to Gayle. Just type "20 best burgers oprah" on your browser, and download the pdf file which contains the list. Hope this helps :)

A place in Dearborn (Detroit) Michigan, Miller's on Michigan Ave. The burgers are big and juicy, and people will be standing outside in the cold for theirs.

I really love your avatar..YUMMY CANDY! *drooling*

I really love the Big Mac at McDonalds
I really love the Whopper at Burger King
Here in kansas we have a fast food place(chain) called Spangles, they are really yummy with their 1/3 pound cheeseburger.
Sonic is YUMMY!
Hmm, dang I can't make a decision as to which one is the best. lol

P.S. I wish we had Whitecastle here (i'm jealous of those who get to eat there) but they have them at Wal Mart, so I still get to have them but they are frickin frozen. (not the same as fresh).
