Where can I file consumer complaints against telemarkters from Dish Network?Their calls are harrassing and abusive. They have been told repeatedly that our number is on the DO NOT CALL LIST and to stop calling. Instead all I got was a barrage of abuse. How can I take action against Dish Network? Complaining to them does not help.
Any help will be appreciated.

I am becoming overwhelmed by technology. Everything on the news and tv is negative. The only thing I ever want to watch on tv is national geographic and history channel. Everything else, sucks. Why am I feeling this way? Do I need a shrink? I have reached the point where I want to pitch it out so I can have a closer relationship with my family but I donot know if my wife is game for it or not. I don't believe she is quite to the point that I am at yet. I know a lot of you folks probably feel as I do. Technology truly sucks and will bring this civilization down, along with global warming, terrorism, and wars. What a wonderful future we are facing. Life is so beautiful but tv sucks. Why don't the producers of these channels get rid of a lot of this crap and educate the public instead of bombarding us with junk tv?

All the instructions seem to assume I have VCR too, which I do not. I have a Scientific Atlanta Explorer 8000 set-top box and plain old DVD player and TV.

My boyfriend has a television from Europe, he's now moved to America. He wants to use the European tv here, but is having problems. The Coaxial cable is not the same, the European tv's slot for the coax is larger than the american made coax. Is there some kind of adaptor or cord that can be bought to convert it, and make the European TV work on the USA's cable system?? If there is such a cord or adaptor, where could such be found or purchased? and what would it be called? Or is my boyfriend stuck with a TV that won't work with the US cable system? Any advice or thoughts at all would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

We replaced the DVD player and we are still having the exact same problem. It happens the moment we play a DVD. There are blue lines runnng through the picture. They seem to clear up over the course of a movie and by the end are hardly noticeable.
