I can see the water in small puddles under the screen and the plastic part. Now the channels keep rotating, 3-4-5-6-7-8-...etc, and won't stop. I cannot turn the TV off, it will not respond to any buttons. Help! Do you think it will go back to normal when all the water dries?

Just wondering to see if a 7" Mobile Digital LCD TV (DVB-T) works in US or not, since it's so popular in Europe and Asia.

I'm looking to buy a tube tv (ya know, LCD, but $$) but wondering what's better - a 27" full screen or a 30" widescreen? It's a tossup - I watch TV and movies equally. Also, what kind of warrenty should I get with it? Is it worth it to get past the 1 year regular?

I have a 32" flat-tube TV. I turned it on yesterday and saw a bright horizontal flash. Since then I only see a very dark picture and there doesn't seem to be any "light". If I turn up to brightness to 100 I can barely make out the picture in a dark room, although it seems kind of fuzzy. Is this something I could fix myself?

Why is it when purchase a widescreen tele and watch a widescreen film on it you still get the black lines top and bottom i thought the whole purpose of widscreen was so you did not get that anymore.

I've been in a TV induced trance for 40 years and 3 months ago I read a book that I couldn't put down. It was the most entertainment I've had in at least 20 years when I quit going to Dead shows. I feel alive again!

My parents have about a 10 year old RCA 32" TV. It all of a sudden doesn't turn on, doesn't even 'click' or anything when you push the power button. Any ideas what might be wrong? And what would be some minimum cost estimates to get it fixed?

I'm guessing it might not be worth it to get it fixed, but wanted to ask.

I have just installed & mounted a new 42" flat panel tv above my fireplace. Since it is a High Definition tv my cable company requires me to use a cable box in order to receive the HD signal. However, now I can't figure a good place to put the cable box. Where could I put the cable box without it looking out of place or awkward? I thought of putting the cable box in another location within the room but the only outlet for the cable wire is behind where the tv hangs now. (it s a brand new home and the cable was wired to this location specifically for a flat panel.) The fireplace does not have a mantle either.

Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated.

It's a camping/sports unit with a 5" black and white TV, AM/FM radio, two white flourescent lights, a flashlight that's just about a spotlight, a siren (in case you get hurt, you don't have to lay there and keep calling for help), an electronic bug repellor (which can be more irritating than it's worht), it uses 9 "C" cell rechargeable batteries, and has a built-in battery charger. I got it from Diamler Chrysler's Five Star management team as a bonus for attending an "In-dealership event".
