I'm looking to buy a tube tv (ya know, LCD, but $$) but wondering what's better - a 27" full screen or a 30" widescreen? It's a tossup - I watch TV and movies equally. Also, what kind of warrenty should I get with it? Is it worth it to get past the 1 year regular?

get the widescreen. it looks better for movies. a 4year warranty is always a safe bet.

Just buy a wide screen, dont buy a LCD because there quality is terrible and if you buy a plasma the average life of one is 8 years then they go out. (matters on how much you watch). If you just want a cheap t.v. but a tube but you will be loosing a lot of quality.
