Try unplugging it completely from the outlet and cable service and let it sit for 5 minutes. Many new sets have a coupling device to protect itself in case of an overload or surge. To reset it must be completely disconnected. After 5 mins, reconnect and see if it comes on.
If not, then it's time for the TV guys.

I know this may sound dumb, but...Is it plugged in? It might have fallen out.
