The TV is 10 yrs old and has no special HD or flat screen or any of that. It's an RCA, the coaxial is rigged in with some glue, but hasn't been right since, it gets blurry or lined sometimes and we have to jiggle the cord or whack the top of TV, what would be the approx. cost of a professional repair???

Is DLP a plasma, LCD, or something completely different? I think LCD is better than plasma, even though it's cheaper, but which of these three is best?

Personally I detest wide-screen television because it distorts the images, particularly faces, and I can't believe that this is considered to be progress! I'd like to know what others think about this. I know you can alter the image - and have normal size - but what's the point of having it in the first place if it distorts? The elongated screen shape doesn't please me either.

I have an xbox and almost all the games support 480p.

If the 480p is better are there any good 20" LCD 480p screens for optimal viewing of xbox games?
