Is there a device that I can put on my television to maintain an even sound level?

On some channels, when a commercial comes on, I jump out of my chair because the sudden loud noise is so startling.

check the menu on your tv if there is a feature called AVL stands for automatic volume lower turn it to on. this will help.

Some VCR's have a feature that will pause the VCR during commercials because a signal is sent to it from the TV station. I would imagine that you could buy a TV like that too. Check with your local TV shop. They would know the answer to this.

no, u have to buy the tv with auto sound future, u can try in samsung
