Toshiba 61 in TV repair?

I have a 61 in Toshiba, model 61A60A. After a very brief power outage due to the weather, the power light on front shows red but I get no picture and no sound. Any ideas on a quick fix. Help.. I miss my big screen.

no quick fixes, power light indicates fuse is good, standby voltage is present.. could be a number of things, Horizintal output transistor. Voltage regulator, ect.. take it to a repairman to be sure. It can be fixed, 65% of everything i repair is lightning damage.

Yes you need to take it to a repair centre ! Good God acerepairman how many thunder storms do have where you live ? must be every day !!
