I have a Sanyo DS32224, 32" TV that gets a discolored spot in the upper left corner when the screen is bright (white or light blue does it the worst). It tints the area greenish at first, and then goes purple-ish in time. The spot will spread downward along the left edge of the screen. It takes about a minute or two of a constant bright screen to cause it, and within another five minutes there's a blob about half the height of the TV and a few inches wide that's discolored. If the image on the screen changes, it gets better at about the same rate (a few minutes on darker images or changing colors and it's gone). Video games seem to do it the worst, although certain DVDs (again, mostly ones with really bright scenes) also cause it.

Any ideas on what's causing this or if there's something (easy and cheap) to fix it?
