If you mean Freeview, check the box. Different boxes offer different packages from just 13 extra channels to more than 20 if you get the more expensive box. Sky digital depends on the package but yeah, the channels available are the same no matter which box you get.

It all depends on what programmes you subscribe to, the digiboxs only receive what you pay for to Sky.

Yes. However some channels are encrypted and you need a box with a card slot to be able to decrypt them. The brand of the box will not affect which channels you receive but it will affect reliability and how easy to use it is.

It can also alter according to the area where you live. If you don`t receive a good signal then some channels will not get through. Or something like that!

although if you buy "a box with a slot" as the TopUpTV gnome says
then for £8 a month you get about 10 more channels. only a 1 month contract.
sky do millionz of packages that are built to suit you.
ntl and telewest i cant comment coz we cant get it round here.

If you are talking about freeview boxes, I think they are all the same. It just depends how strong your reception is.

No each provider has their own packages. Choose one that fits your needs best. I have DISH and love it. 180 great stations including music.
Check all that are availabe in your area for price and programming.
