In my dorm i have my microwave on top on my mini fridge, and my TV is on top of the microwave, now i am wondering if i use my microwave will it effect my TV that is sitting right on top of it? or should it be pretty safe?

The microwave emits its own radio frequency so it will interfere with your tv's reception. It should be safe.

Microwave oven manufacturers go to great lengths to keep all the microwave energy inside the cabinet , they are very fussy about even the teeniest leak so don't worry about it !!

If you are not fried by now, the TV will not be affected in the LEAST bit. so keep both on at the same time for popcorn and movies without fear.

It might interfere with your tv reception. I think it's probably safe though.
