Many stores offer price matching with the caveat that the other store must be local and have the item in stock. I am searching for a tv and see that tigerdirect's prices are hundreds less than circuit city.

My question

Does anyone know of a shopping website that helps you find the best local price in your area for price matching purposes?

Need help hooking up my dvd/vcr player. I already have the digital cable box hooked up to the tv. How do I hook up the player so that i can record a cable channel? I have a set of the red/yellow/white cord and a set of the red/green/blue cord.

My co-worker leaves her TV on 24/7 in the office for no apparent reason. I'm sick of hearing news anchors yap, yap, yap all day. I can't take it anymore!

What's a remote that I could get to make turn off or turn the volume down on her TV? The signal would need to go about 10 feet.. through a small wall (office divider).

I have a TV upstairs and downstairs. The upstairs one has two cable outlets in the wall and both were being used before I hooked up the TIVO. When I hooked it up, I removed the splitter and the cord from one of the two cable outlets. So now I'm not using a splitter and one outlet is not being used. My cable TV does not work anymore downstairs. Do I need to hook it up with the splitter again upstairs? What do I do?

I click on menu and it will go to auto prog or just stays on cable. what button do I hit to make it go to cable. If I push over it just lets me add and delete but its still on cable. its a symphonic tv/vcr.

I have an old Sony TV. With the cable plugged into the VHF input the channels only go up to 37 (it's supposed to go to 72). Every channel abover 37 is dead black. The only other inputs are two UHF jacks.

I live in Massachusetts, about 30 minutes away from the Rhode Island border and about 45 minutes away from Boston. I have DirecTV with local channels package. The problem is that I'm not able to get any Boston channels, yet I get channels from from Providence, Atlanta, Chicago, etc. I used to have cable television and I used to get channels from Boston, Providence, etc., even all the way from Portugal. So now I can't even watch my local news as I used to be able to do. What should I do? Should I just switch back to the more expensive cable television, once my one-year contract is up?

Okay if you have Comcast high speed internet the cable that connects to your modem also allows you to have free cable television so you can connnect that cable wire to your TV & you have free cable while only paying for the internet. How does Comcast feed internet & cable TV through the same wire?
