All- I'm hoping to buy one of these soon. What's your recommendation for my next tv?

For the price, Samsung DLP is your best bet, hands down!
EDIT - Ok, if price is NOT an object, I would still go with Samsung. Sony makes a great TV, nonetheless, but, my personal experience has always brought me to Samsung for their DLP TVs. When it comes to maintenance later on with those, as well, Samsung is cheaper to maintain (again, price being an object). Hope this helps your decision, but, the bottom line is you have to sit down with each tv and see which one you personally like better.

The Samsung DLP is about the best that I have seen. I have one myself and all of my friends who have plasmas and LCD's always ask me what kind of "plasma" this is.. when it isnt a plasma at all. Its not even a flat panel.

I would choose Sony they make the best products. I have had bad luck with other samsung products. Avoid any electronic with daewoo or symphonic on it.
