Thinking of buying a tv, but it has no headphone socket. I like staying up late and playing on the xbox, bit noisy without headphones. Can i get a scart set.

If it has a output for your Hi Fi plug it into that and then use your headphones through your Hi Fi .

ive never heard of a scart set. If your tv has speaker out sockets you can buy an adaptor to convert 2 honno connections to a 3.5mm mini headphone socket. However the output from the speaker connections will probaly need amplifying i n order to hear it. So i would say NO

open the unit, soldier the speaker wires from TV to headphone jack, close unit and enjoy, be double sure you now where your putting your hands at all times as a TV retains an electrical charge that can jump to you even when the unit is un plugged.

connect your TV or XBOX to a HiFi System and use headphones.

Alternative is to find a different tv with a headphone socket.
