Hi everyone,
My daughter is in a bit of a spot. Her ex moved out and is cutting off the foxtel tonight and she cant get a reception on her tv without a booster box apparently. Does anybody know where to find them or if there may be a simpler way to fix this problem. Around how much would it cost as well if you know. She lives on the central coast Gosford.
Thanks

No, I don't mean environmentally friendly---the entire display is green. I have tried degaussing, turning it off and on and moving speakers away from it. This is not the type of discoloration one normally sees in the corners of the screen; it is an even, green, tint covering the whole screen. Needless to say it is a CRT, Mitsubishi, 35 in. about 10 years old.

I'm switching from composite to s-video, but I need to know,

Does the s-video cable send the sound to the TV too or do I still need the red and white audio wire to send the sound?

I just had digital cable installed. When trying to use my DVD/VCR combo to tape TV channels, all I get is a blue screen. The setup currently is: cable in to digital box, cable out of box & in DVD/VCR, cable out of DVD/VCR & in TV (all using regular coaxial cable). I have read to try RCA cables from digital box to DVD/VCR, and setting the VCR to line 1. This still leaves me with a blue screen. Please tell me what to do to set everything up correctly. Thanks!

I have a 56" Samsung DLP HDTV. The picture for HDTV and DVD is amazing and full of life. But, the picture for the standard channels do not look up to par or even as good as my cheaper television. I know that a bigger TV will make the flaws bigger/worse but is there any products that I could buy that may help with this picture? I currently use a Monster HDMI Cable from my cable box to my TV. Thanks!!

I've got a Toshiba 20WLT56B LCD TV which suffers from a noticeable lack of video/sound sync, which makes it very difficult to watch..
I queried this with Toshiba who say
" there is an 80millisecond difference between the sound and the picture, and this is common to all LCD and plasma TVs".
I have never heard this before. Any opinions?

My reception is OK (not the greatest but OK) up to about channel 32. Then the higher I go the worse it gets. My favourite sports channel 53 is brutal. The cable in the house is only split once so it shouldn't be that bad. Would a cable booster make it clear?

I need to buy a good quality TV set, 42" to 65" or more, the bigger the better, 50% of the time will be used as TV and the other 50% as computer monitor. What is better DLP rear proyection TV, LCD, Plasma. Also I am worry about eye damage, and since it will be a big investment the more lasting the better. Which brands do you recommend me and which stay out of them? also budget is a problem, I wish it will be between $1500 dlls to $2500 maybe a little bit more if needed.

Thanks

We just cut off our cable and are going back to peasant-vision. We have 3 TV's and rather than having rabbit ears for them all, I would like to hook up an antenna on the roof of the house to feed all 3 TV's a signal (hopefully through the cable wire). Is this possible? Any help or suggestions are welcome.
