Although the 90 inch would be more like you're actually there, the LCD is where it's at. Think about it, are you playing video games by yourself or are you playing with others? If your playing by yourself all the time then go for the 90 inch. But if you play with others do the LCD. With a projector the viewing is poor from the sides, you have to be facing it straight on which means you would have to practically be sitting on your oponent. With an LCD the periferal viewing is just as good as straight on so you're not compromised by playing with others. Happy shopping.

It really depends on your environment.
Technically speaking, a DLP picture would produce a better picture than an LCD because DLP refresh faster and have better colors.
As for the sharpness and pixelation, it really depends how close you are going to be the picture.
The rule is take the screen size and multiply by 2.5. The number you get is the optimal seating distance. For example, you take 50 inches screen size x 2.5 = 125 inches / 12 inches = 10.4 ft. You would recommend a 50" TV for people who are sitting about 10 ft away from the TV. You would have to be sitting about 19 ft, if you wanted a 90 inch screen.
Besides the sitting distance, you also have to consider ambient light, cabling and lamp costs. Lamp costs is between $300-$500 for every 3,000-5,000 hours. Projectors do not work very well with extra light in the room.

I find that projectors tend to have comparatively poor contrast, which can make it difficult to play some games.
Get a Plasma.
