LG 42PC3D HDTV

I bought an amplified indoor antenna to receive local channels in HD. I hooked the coax to the antenna "in" on the back of the TV, tuned in to a local channel that was broadcast in HD and through adjustment to the antenna, I couldn't see any difference at all. Is there something I am doing wrong i.e. connections or inputs?

Get an external areal because you get better receptopn for it and you should get more channels.

Typically the OTA signals the HD signal is not given the same designation as the SD signal. For example, the NBC station in my area is channel 5. Using my antenna, I get the standard defintion signal when I tune in channel 5 but get the HD signal when I tune in channel 5.1. You may also need to let you TV perform a channel search. Mine (a Sony) lists how many analog and how many digital channels it finds and then by using the channel up button on your remote you should be able to see all of the channels it found.
