Hi everyone,
My daughter is in a bit of a spot. Her ex moved out and is cutting off the foxtel tonight and she cant get a reception on her tv without a booster box apparently. Does anybody know where to find them or if there may be a simpler way to fix this problem. Around how much would it cost as well if you know. She lives on the central coast Gosford.
Thanks

You get a booster box for a tv for about $40 - 70 at dick smith, bunnings, big w, or nearly anywhere like that. It should help her. In Gosford she should be able to get digital TV with a set top box. A cheap set top box is $70 - 120 at Big W or JB hifi at tuggerah (tugerah jb has the best range of budget set top boxes that i have seen) A set top box fixed up mu poor TV reception at morrisete (20 min away from gosford)

Before rushing out and getting a booster box i would try and re-tune the TV as it may pick up the stations without one. If you have already tried that I would recommend talking to a TV antanna person if you can afford it, otherwise talk to somebody in a shop such as dick smith because people in the stores close by may be able to help you with your problem

I don't know if this will help but I bought a booster box for my sister quite a few years ago when she was living in rural South Australia & we got it from a electronic shop so you could try tandy or dick smith. It might also be worthwhile to ring someone that installs arials as they could probably tell you if you need a booster box or not. Hope it works out for your daughter.
