I've got a Toshiba 20WLT56B LCD TV which suffers from a noticeable lack of video/sound sync, which makes it very difficult to watch..
I queried this with Toshiba who say
" there is an 80millisecond difference between the sound and the picture, and this is common to all LCD and plasma TVs".
I have never heard this before. Any opinions?

Toshiba say it's down to processing time on the panel, but it's only apparent on digital signals. Analogue signals are in sync.
Methinks Toshiba are not being completely honest.

Yes I heard about this something about video processing inside that cause the delay. It's true. If you can't except it I think you should try for refund.

80 milliseconds?!?!?!? That is unnoticeable to the human eye. If you're able to see it then there's something wrong and it's a lot longer than 80 milliseconds. Do you have cable? If so, maybe the cable box is screwing up. Does this happen when you watch a DVD? If not then it's the TV.
