And also this one:

May want to hook my Computer up to it as well. I do that with the VGA cable right? Looking to keep the purchase as cheap as possible. Really don't want to break $800 or if I have too $1,000 but looking to buy 2.

Also this one here says it supports 1080p through the HDMI cables. Do i need a tuner? Or do I just need cables for this?

A couple of people at work insist that 480p is barely considered HD resolution. One of them based this comment on an Xbox (not Xbox 360) videogame that he owns that show on the back that it supports 480p HD. The other one stated that a relative of his had bought a LCD TV that (according to him) was also a 480p HDTV. I told both of them that in my opinion, HDTV resulution starts at 720i. Any input will be much appreciated? Thanks!

I have a Polaroid LCD TV that I want to take back to the UK. It is NTSC versus the UK PAL format but it has HDMI. I was told that if I plug in a satellite (digital TV) connection through HDMI, it should work as the format of the signal is not PAL. Is this true? Voltage is fine as it supports 110v and 240v. Thanks in advance

I just recently bought an Samsung DLP 46" HDTV that has 1080i maximum resolution. The HD channels on the TV look amazing and I have no problems with them. The only problem I have is on regular channels that are 480i. They bad and fuzzy and quality isnt that great. I dont know if its a cable problem because on a standard TV I have thats plugs in from the same source looks great. Is it because of the size of the screen or does my cable need more signal power? I have Time Warner Cable and have a Cable Box with it too.

Im renting a flat panel TV for the super bowl and when i hooked it up to my sattilite the picture is blurry, kinda like its under water. They didnt give me any extra hook ups so i just used my cable off of the sattelite dvr box. Do I need another cable or is the TV itself messed up?

I have adelphia digital cable, and it has been set up before and worked fine. Recently though, the digital cable doesn't work. The digital menu comes up with all of the tv listings, but there is no sound and the screen is black. The cable cord is plugged in from the wall to the cable box and then to my tv. If I plug my tv straight into the wall, the cable works fine, it's just not digital. Is this something that's wrong with the settings on my tv/box or is this something I need to contact Adelphia about (posting here because it's Friday...). Thanks!

I'm in the market for a lcd hdtv to play my 20 gig PS3 on. I did a little research on Visco and I've gotten mixed reviews. I'm a casual gamer and I don't have too much time to burn on gaming. I'm hoping to spend between $600 to $700 dollars. Should I waste my time with this brand?? Thanks in advance

I am sure that I have everything connected to the right places. It's a Magnavox 37", if that makes any difference. What can be causing this? What can I do about it.

(Please do not post nasty "read your manual" answers. I did that already, and even in the "troubleshooting" section, there is nothing about this problem.)

The picture on TV has turned green, pink and red, I think it's got something to do with a magnet that was left nearby. Is this repairable - and could it have been the magnet?
