Im renting a flat panel TV for the super bowl and when i hooked it up to my sattilite the picture is blurry, kinda like its under water. They didnt give me any extra hook ups so i just used my cable off of the sattelite dvr box. Do I need another cable or is the TV itself messed up?

If you are only using RCA (red, white, yellow) connections you are not getting a digital (or high-def) picture. Also, if you're trying for high-def, you need to have a high-def satellite box upgrade. This will allow you to use the HDMI (pure digital) cable for perfect high-def quality video.

If you aren't going for high-def you need to at least use the best non-digital cable: component (red, white, yellow, green, blue). The reason your picture is blurry is because the tv isn't getting the best signal from your satellite box. Call the rental company about the high-def requirements of your rental tv.

Call who ever you rented it from and ask them.
