The set is old, and the manual long gone. If I had the manual I would not be asking the question.

These folks can sell you the manual for $15.
Maybe Sony will be nice enough to send you one for free or less.

However, old TVs are not very complicated.
Use the TV's menu to do a channel scan.
Then look for an option to manually add or delete (or skip/add) a channel.
usually you use the up/down arrows to navigate
maybe +/enter/select to selct it
then up/down or left/right to toggle between add/skip
