when i record a show on my hauppauge WinTV Go Plus TV Tuner the audio has a "screetch" or very high pitched noise when i play the video back. I even replaced the audio cable. What else could I do?

can i like, get tv shows through the internet with tivo,,,, cuz here, we dont have cable.
i was thinking i might be able to watch TV shows by getting the tivo,,is it like that or what?

is it possible to do that without a cable line,,,,,, i mean watch real TV channels, on a TV, not a computer.

I want to sell my Directtv/Tivo receiver, since my new apartment doesn't allow dishes. How can I erase the hard drive of my Tivo (with my favorites, season passes, etc?) before I give it to the buyer? Or do I not need to do that?

It's been frozen on this screen all night long and I've even unplugged it for a half hour, plugged it back in and it still freezes on this screen. I've repeated this a few times with the same results.

I am moving house and have lots of those blank tapes you can buy with allsorts of things taped on them, some are over 20years old, so are no longer watchable and i really dont want to just add them to the landfill pile i would much rather they could be recycled!

Last year I bought an LG DVD Recorder with hard drive. Now when I record on Disc's (DVD+RW) and try to play them on it, it says unknown disc, please check disc. Even some DVD's I rent It says this. Why? Thank you.
