I purely needed a low-value freeview container to tide me over till my Sky deploy. So I have been given a Matsui from Currys for £24.ninety 9. did no longer assume a lot even though it grow to be actually high quality and it even had a slot for a splendid Up television card. some sturdy helpful aspects and an trouble-free to comprehend menu. good deal IMHO

Frankly, the best that you can afford from a given makers range.

If you choose a reputable brand like Sony or Panasonic and buy from a good shop like John Lewis (try their on-line shop) then you can fairly say price=quality.

If you buy from a supermarket or some unknown brand then you may get the features but you'll lose reliability and have a relativley high power consumtion.

Argos have a good one with a 80gb hardrive built in,so you can record straight onto the box without using a vcr or dvd recorder.I know a few people who have 1 and they're impressed with it.The price is £94.50,it also as picture in picture.http://www.argos.co.uk
