Tv recording issues through computer?

when i record a show on my hauppauge WinTV Go Plus TV Tuner the audio has a "screetch" or very high pitched noise when i play the video back. I even replaced the audio cable. What else could I do?

Try reversing the audio leads. I had the same issue with a DVD recorder and reversing them got rid of the problem for me.

You might also try separating the audio to see if that gets rid of it. Put your cables 6" or so apart to see if you have cross feed.
