I am moving house and have lots of those blank tapes you can buy with allsorts of things taped on them, some are over 20years old, so are no longer watchable and i really dont want to just add them to the landfill pile i would much rather they could be recycled!

I know alot of you have said charity shops but they really arent worthy of taking, they arent proper films they are only those blank tapes you can buy which i have taped things off the tv on to and so they are really worn out! im sure no charity shop would take them....

Sorry I don't know, but as we seem to be living paralel lives I'm interested to see what the answers are. I also live near Leeds, am moving house and have hundreds of ancient VHS tapes....

best place is any charity shop, failing that your local flea-market.

why not take them to a second hand shop.
