allow outside dishes and though that maybe if i set it up shooting out the window maybe it could work. I realize this is probably a dumb question but I love this apartment, but not being able to get directv and the NFL sunday ticket that only they offer is a holdup.

I'm going to be doing a bunch of interviews which will then need to be transcribed. What should I buy that would work best for this purpose? A cassette recorder? A digital recorder? A transcription machine - if such a thing exists? Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Did you know that CB radio in the UK is being de-regulated on the 8th December 2006? This means from after that date you can get out your old UK27/81 and PR27GB radios and use them again legally without a licence? Did you also know that you can use CB while mobile? It isn't illegal to hold a hand held microphone whilst driving so you can chat 'in convoy' quite legally.... give it another go ex-breakers...you know you want to, and now it really is free ;o)

In the last six months or so it seems as if the quality of the DVDs is terrible. the discs are badly scratched, covered with fingerprints, or worse. Is it a company policy not to check the discs when they are returned? Every disc we have rented in the past five months, with maybe 3 exceptions, have been unplayable. (I have 3 different ways of playing a DVD, and I keep the equipment spotless.) Is it the customer's responsibility to check each disc before leaving the store? I have tried to contact Blockbuster Corp by email but they sent me a form back that told me that my concerns would be addressed.

One of my friends is telling me that you can not store a DVD Disc
in an audio "slim jewel case" because they dont have the same properties or something like that. The discs should be store in "a dvd storage box"....

Can anyone verify which should and shouldnt be done? Are there specific cases for the DVD's that need to be bought?

I am transferring old home movies onto disc, but dont want to lose the picture quality or have the disc get messed up in any way in the future...

Thanks

I bought a PSP on November 14th. I am not satisfied with it and want to get an iPod Video. The PSP is past the 14-day return period. But i want to return it. How do I get my money back or store credit. Or is there anywhere else i sell it for full price?

The reason i want to return it is because i bought to watch movies, listen to music, and play games. But i don't like the games, and i only have watched movies, and played games thus far. So i might as well as get something that is solely for that purpose. And also the Memory Stick Duos are too expensive. So the iPod video will save me money.

My friend and I were talking about how we type faster than we handwrite. So we decided that we should bring our laptops to school next term. The thing is, bringing our laptops would be sort of heavy. My friend says she knows of this gadget that looks like a laptop, but doesn't do anything other than let you type in its word processor and has limited memory. So it lets you type and save what you type and you can save them in a memory card (or it has a USB port) but it doesn't do anything else. I've been trying to look for this thing EVERYWHERE. Online and offline and no one knows anything about it. Can anyone please tell me what this gadget is called so I can at least search it online? Thanks.
