I have bought a Computer, and it has capabilities of been able to receive TV signals here in the UK, the question is, If I moved to France, would it be possible to receive English channels through the same computer..

Obviously you are not understanding the principle of terrestrial analog or digital reception.
1. To receive anything anywhere you will need an Ariel
2. It is entirely possible in the north of France to receive terrestrial TV signals from the UK
3. The Encoder decoder in your PC card (Or USB device, whatever) may be capable or receiving signals other than PAL encoding which means, having an Ariel attached you will pick up the local SECAM etc encoded signals. NOTE the computer itself cannot receive TV signals Its an adaptor card within that relies on an input from and Ariel that does this.. Unless you mean Broadband TV which is an entirely different kettle of fish and a complete waste of time as all that is transmitted on it is rubbish or better can be seen on U-Tube.com

Is it wirelessly (ex:Broadcast tower) or over the internet?
