I'm touring Italy this February with my choir and I need to find a European outlet converter that will work there so I can plug in my US-made chargers. Anyone know where to find one that is known to work but is inexpensive?

Radio Shack has several versions.
A travel accessory store ie: Surrey Luggage.
Most Electronic Stores ie: Circuit City, Office Depot, Office Max, etc.
Depending on the chargers, 1500Ma should handle most and you are talking about $40 for a good one with a plug adapter set included.
Read all the charger data plates to see if any need more current. I bought a power supply here in Spain that has a fairly long cord and has a complete set of different size tips, 1800 mA and switch that controls the output voltage from 3 volts up to a full 12 volts. [29 Watts]. It cost me 30 Euros here. I use it with a "Sharper Image" Ionic Breeze air cleaner. It gets warm but I've been using it for over a year now.

you're able to purchase those issues at any international airport. yet notice that it is not in undemanding terms an issue of plug shapes. you desire an adapter which will step down from the manly ecu 240V skill furnish to the weedy American 110V furnish; or you will fry your hair straightener. those fee slightly extra, and you're able to locate that - till you have different home equipment which you need to use it for - it fairly is extra fee-effective just to purchase a clean hair straightener once you get to Europe.

I have a similar one to this (mine's branded with Norelco). It's great and if you go somewhere else, or get stuck somewhere besides Italy, you'll still be able to have power.
