It depends on the age of the Tv and has nothing to do with either you have cable or satellite. If the TV is an older model, with only the normal cable type connector at the back that screws in, you will need a secondary device known as a connector switch box first. They are available at most stores for around $15.00.Connect the three oulet cables from the DVD player (yellow, red and white) to the same connections on the interim receiver box and then connect that to your TV and plug it in an electrical outlet. I have the same situation here.

DVD gamers normally have 2 or 3 connection types. Composite - yellow video, purple/white audio factor - purple/green/Blue Video, purple/white audio HDMI - a single cable donning digital audio and video some DVD gamers even have an RF modulator, so as which you will hook up a coaxial cable on your television, tuned to channel 3. Your superb wager may well be a composite swap container.

If your tv is cable ready hook it up to the ports on the back or front that say AUX, if it is not a new tv with the additional ports, you must hook it to your vcr, if you don't have a vcr and you don't have any AUX ports I suggest getting a newer tv or just live without your dvd's.

its not going to work without cables, which cables you want to use depends on the quality you want,ie picture and sound. all dvd players unless they are dvd/vcr combo, are all out put only. if you are wanting to minimize the amount of cables used, try using just 1 coaxial cable between dvd player and tv.

You'd need to transmit it somehow over airways. There's no wireless technology for this yet.
