Anything to do then when you bring them indooors??

I don't think it matters with them just the vcr tapes becaused the plastic tape inside will break if it gets too cold or melt if it gets too hot

put it in a freezer at -40 degrees for the next 5 years.....pull it out and let it reach room temperature (so the fog/dew gets off it) then play it.....it plays.

if its from the car, out in the cold....just let it warm up as the heat from the computer or dvd player will cause a fog/dew to form on the cd/dvd and the laser won't be able to read through it till its either wiped away or evaporates.

Forever they are not affected by temperature alone. If you had a disc that was at 0 degrees and you warmed it up very quickly it might crack, just let the disc warm up normally and it will be fine.

When out keep cd player in warm pocket.Batteries die pretty fast.When it is really cold it a waste

Honestly, it depends on the temperature. anything below 0 degress will be less than 5 minutes. anything above will be at the most half an hour.
