How to play a NTSC/ DVD on the DVD player in India?

I bought a DVD player . I can play India made CD's or DVD's on that .. But i cannot play the NTSC / DVD's bought from USA. some one told me I have to make some adjustments in dvd player... I have a sony Tv . can anyone help me what i am suppose to do?

If its a regular dvd player and not one inside of a computer, sorry. You cannot watch BOTH regions of movies at the same time. This is by design to prevent illegal copying of videos. If you have Region 1 movies in India, they aren't legal (unless that is you came here to buy them)

The oly way to do what you want is to either buy a computer and use it to remove region coding, OR buy an American made DVD player for the region 1 DVD's.
