I have itunes downloaded on my computer at work but nothing is on it. I don't want to mess up anyting on my ipod. When I went to hook my ipod up, it told me not to disconnect and of course I didn't want anything on my ipod to be wiped out, so I did. I also have windows media player. Is there an easy way to view it or am I going to have to watch it on the 2 1/2" ipod screen? Help please.

ok. so i want to buy an ipod and i want to put the music i have in media player to it. how does that work? when i download itunes would the computer automatically fin the other music i have in it and put it to itunes?

I want an ipod but i hate itunes i wish to be able to just 'drag and drop' from my music on pc, none of my mp3's have been converted by itunes to make them compatable with an ipod - but f*ck doing that again!
Also - can you have variable bit rates on ipods and will it allow me to have mp3's compressed at different bit rates?

I hope someone can help or ill have to get the creative Zen!

Compress mp3 files to cd?
i have over 850 mb of mp3 in 1 folder. is there away to compress the folder of mp3 so i can put all them on just 1 cd? are maybe away to put them on vcd so it play in my dvd player that reads vcd? thanks

I have had my iPod for about 3 months past the 1 year warranty so I'm unable to send it in and get it fixed for free. The iPod registers things and the screen will appear when I flick the hold button on and off, but the main problem is that the buttons don't seem to be registering. I click them and they won't even work at all. I can't reset it seeing as the buttons don't work and then I tried plugging it in and it doesn't effect it at all. Anyone got any tips or should I just go buy a new iPod?

One of my friend has recorded valuable speaches, musics, religious discourses done in open auditoriums. I want to copy the same in to a CD/DVD using computer. When I suggested the same to be given to some people doing this job as a buisness, he is not willing to part with as he feels tht some of his collections would be stolen prejudicing his rights. He is willing to sit with me and permit me to take copy through my domestic computer. Can any body suggest me how to copy them using computes with window XP and is there any special soft ware available for this. Where can we get it through internet? I will be thankful for any body who suggests the easy ways and means to copy the matter in the audio tape in to a CD.
