my ipod wont turn on whenever i want it too. i try charging it but nothing. its blank. someone help?

i have a 2 gb. my sisters brought it for me, for my birthday in Nov. how do i send it to Apple? there were problems with it in the past. like when its on, something it would freeze. but this is the first time it wont turn on.

Not to insult, but are you sure that the hold button is off. If not there probably is a problem with the hold button not registering or something's fried inside. You're better off sending to to the company to get it fixed. Hope u get it working.

Send it back to Apple as soon as possible. If you bought it within a year ago it will be serviced free of charge. If not, i'm not sure how much it will cost. If you try to open it up or fix it your self, it may void any warrant in place.

what model ipod as many things happen to them and there are many methods to fix the problems.
