I have had my iPod for about 3 months past the 1 year warranty so I'm unable to send it in and get it fixed for free. The iPod registers things and the screen will appear when I flick the hold button on and off, but the main problem is that the buttons don't seem to be registering. I click them and they won't even work at all. I can't reset it seeing as the buttons don't work and then I tried plugging it in and it doesn't effect it at all. Anyone got any tips or should I just go buy a new iPod?

it is possible that the buttons are not making a connection with the plate underneath you could open it up but that is best done by a technician there are tools to buy to do this but it is your choice if you want to buy a new one or not.
