Music & Music Players - June 2006

[Selected]: All categories Consumer Electronics Music & Music Players

My mother is currently in a skilled nursing facility, and doesn't have many entertainment options. What might help is a radio/CD player that can clamp onto one of the rails of her hospital bed. It needs to have a relatively slim profile (so it doesn't stick out and get knocked off when her sheets are changed), and easy enough to use for someone with only one good arm. I've looked around for quite some time, but so far cannot find what I'm looking for.

Any help appreciated. :-)

I was listening to my songs on my iPod while it was hooked up to the computer and it was working just fine. The songs were all there and everything. Then, when I disconnected it and took it to work, the songs were all gone! The pictures were still there, but the songs were all gone. I didnt' delete any of the songs, and now I don't know what happened to them. Can I get them back?

My Ipod shuffle broke about 2 days ago and i dont know if i should just buy a new one in a shorter time and hope it doesnt brake again or just save up my money by working this summer to buy an Ipod Nano, but that will just take longer and i cant live without and ipod.

P.S im only 14 and my job only pays 20 bucks a day and i was trying to save up for clothes, and other things.

i like the look and feel of the nano. however, i feel that ipod is overrated. but i can get it for pretty much the same price as the zen or mpio hd400. i would most likely prefer one with an fm tuner (can you get an fm tuner on an ipod?). a long battery life. easy to use and organize - something that you can search by artist / title / playlist or play all. maybe something that is durable (as i will be using it at the gym). unless there are other products out there that are comparable, or better than these? i'm open to suggestions. i'm also not sure about the mpio brand (reliability, etc). also, would you suggest one that is battery operated, or charged through the usb port on a computer? how much heavier might a battery operated one be? i know they're only 110g or less, but the lighter the better. i want something that's small and light weight, but versatile to use. one that looks nice most definitely :) i'm sorry, i'm just really picky (and confused). thanks so much for your input.

i've bought iTunes songs for my Motorola SLVR phone but I'd also like to listen to the songs while driving in my car. My car's CD player only recongnizes "regular" CD data. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

I have an Ipod Nano and I was wondering if I should get the AV connection cable. I want to listen to music through a boombox or stereo at my house because I don't want to buy one of those expensive stereos from Apple. Also Is there a way to look at pictures on your TV or does that not work for the nano? Also, is there a way to contact Apple through an email?
