iTunes will let you export music from computer to your iPod, but not the other way around. It blocks you from adding music to you computer from somebody else's iPod. There are third-party programs you can download to get around this annoyance (I prefer YamiPod... http://www.yamipod.com/main/modules/downloads/ ).

You can tranfer your itunes library (usually located under my music/itunes) to another computer and add them to that ipod. If the songs you're transfering are licensed (meaning you bought them on itunes) then you have to authorized the other computer. you are allowed to authorized up to 5 machines with your username and password. If the music was converted from CD's or from another source, you can just copy it over, and have itunes add it to it's library
