Music & Music Players - June 2006

Lately i've been having to wiggle the headphone jack around to just get sound out of the left channel on my creative zen touch and it's extremely annoying, anyway to fix this? I read that many people have had problems with the micro and that it can be fixed by a soldering iron and I was wondering if the touch can be fixed the same way. Also would it be easy enough for me to do it on my own or should I pay a repairman to do it, and roughly how much? whew! Thanks

Will be downloading audio books from "OverDrive" media and searching for the "PlaysForSure" MP3 player with space for 2 or more audio books. Which is best 4GB of Flash memory or 30GB of Hard drive? Do not plan to download any music-want to listen to books on my commute. Comparing Samsung YP-Z5 with Phillips 30GB. iPod IS NOT COMPATIBLE!

My problem regarding the vision:m is that it is not
detected in "My Computer" as a portable device or
whatever. The thing is, I know it's connected
properly because firstly i can see it and secondly
the windows noise comes up to tell you that it has
detected hardware and when it is taken out the
noise of a device being removed sounds. However,
the noise when it is plugged in is not the usual
one - this one starts off normal then "stutters"
but not as if it is malfunctioning. I know the
software is installed correctly because i have
been using it for close to 3 months. Another thing
is the vision:m doesnt start charging when plugged
in or go to the usb connected screen. The vision:
m is running perfectly when not in computer and
perfectly when connected to the computer (as it
doesnt change to connection mode). I also looked
in your knowledge base the answer of logging on as
administrator and changing **** around didnt work.

I already have a 20GB Ipod. It holds most of my music, but it's too bulky for running and it freezes whenever I run for more than 1/2 hour. Will the 1GB nano do the same or should I go with the Shuffle?

Bought an i pod (30Gigs With video Screen) a few weeks ago and iv'e got all my music downloaded, the sound is of good clarity but i'm very dissapointed with the volume at max. I want it so much louder. When i've got symphony of destruction on i want it blasting. I'm serious, the volume capability at the moment suck's. Already been and bought more expensive earphone's Some fancy Sony one's that cost me 50 euro's Can anyone help please??????
