So far there hasn't been any new news about a new Ipod, since the last one just came not that long ago.

There have been rumors circulating about the new video ipod to be released soon, which reportedly has a 3.5 inch screen with a virtual touch wheel that appears when a finger touches the screen and disappears when the finger is removed. Apparently, there will be a total of three different generations of the video iPod, each one better than the last. In 2004, a 5GB photo iPod with video capabilities was released amid much speculation that such an iPod was being developed. A year later, Apple released a 30 and 60GB version which was more streamlined. Now, there have been confirmations that Apple has secured a patent for an iPod with touchscreen capabilities, which would make it the ultimate video iPod.

JUST BEFORE IT DIES IT RELEASES A SPECIAL MP3 INTO YOUR PLAYLIST THAT LOOKS LIKE A NEW SONG FROM THE CLICK FIVE BUT IT IS ACTUALLY STEVE JOBS LAUGHING AND THEN SAYING - HEY THANKS FOR SPENDING 400 DOLLARS ON THIS PAPERWEIGHT. ive heard that there will be one comming out that will all be touchscreen. no more pushing buttons all taping liek the scrollwheel. not sure when then. Hopefully soon
