I just bought a record player and I am running it through a DVD/receiver. I hooked it up using rca cables but the sound is really quiet and there is no bass. I do not know what I should ground it to. Could that be the problem?

my sisiter locked my ipod and know i dont know the combination to unlock it cuz i forgot the numbers so is there another way to unlock it by using the computer or something ells.

I have a large collection of LPs, many of which are out of print. I'm not a "rare LP collector" as such but enjoy the music very much and don't want to lose the music I've amassed. What are some opinions as to the risk(s)/benefits of recording these onto CD-R and giving the bulk of this space hogging vinyl over to the flea market?

i have an old sony amp that i found in a shed and im trying to fix it.
i plugged it in to find out initially what worked and have found that the inputs work, but theres no left output.
what are some simple checks i can do?
sony model number hst-d301cd

edit: its not the main output where you plug the speakers in.

Does this player restart from where it is in a track when it is turned off or not? I intend to buy one for use with e-books and podcasts, so I don't want an MP3 player which resets the track back to the start when it is switched off.

I took it to an Apple store but they said they didn't replace them. Does anyone know who does? I live in Sacramento CA. Thanks! PS it got scratched up while inside of my iSkin, the person who helped me at the Apple store thought it could be cleaned but she didn't have any luck. Lame!
