my sisiter locked my ipod and know i dont know the combination to unlock it cuz i forgot the numbers so is there another way to unlock it by using the computer or something ells.

yes, you can use the computer to unlock your iPod, it says it in the little book it came with. i know what your talking about, and the computer is the only way to unlock it. but if it's just on hold, there is a button on the top left, slide it to the left

I did this for my friend. He locked himself out of his iPod.

All I did was use the latest version of iPod Updater from Apple's website ( http://www.apple.com/ipod/download/ ) and reformatted it back to factory settings. This erases everything on the iPod, including the password. However, you have to now go through and upload all your music and photos again... But hey, it won't be asking for a password.

I thought you could only do it with the top button which says (lock/unlock).

u mean a nano i pod? well there is a button on the top of the i pod u just switch it i think there is no other way to lock it

there is a hold button some were on it. if you see red move the button the other way.
