Basically I don't want to delete the songs already on the Ipod but whenever I plug it up to my computer it prompts me to replace the songs already on the ipod with all the songs on my computer. Also, it will not allow me to retrieve the songs from the ipod and add them to the computer or even listen to them through the computer.

This may appear a dumb question but I really have no idea about MP3. I'm about to get a new phone with an MP3 player. My boyfriend has an MP3 compatible car stereo and we're both pretty much clueless as to how the MP3 thing works. My sister has a laptop that I can download from. I want music on the move and not to have to carry around my bulky CD WALKMAN. lol. Any advice, instructions etc, would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, you may get album art, 60 gigabytes, and a huge brand name, but you also get faluty matiral and lies. i think the i- pod is a rip off. if you think so, or if you don't, tell me.

ok i want to get an mp3 player but idk which to get ui want the zen sleek cuz its LARGE memory and bigger display than the zen photo wghich swhould i get i want the zen photto cuz i want the glowing edges and the cool colors but i want good quality and durabilty whcih of the two??? well, not really installing...more that stuff after. I put it on my iPod, and is rebooted fine. the apple picture came up, then the language selection, then the menu. I want to install games, and a few video clips. Linux already wiped my iPod, so i have all my 2GB free at the time. Also, will it hurt linux if i update my music/pix/podcasts AFTER i install linux? i don't think i know what i'm doing. the linux page was NOT AT ALL helpfull.

I read everywhere that some people think the bean SUCKS!!! Other people think that the bean is worth every dime.... I really want to know if the bean is worth getting and if I wont regret it. And dont suggest I get an iPod cause my sister has one and i dont get the big deal about those. Yes they're nice looking but there are surely other better mp3 players. Plus iPod's battery life sucks ***!!! So please people help me with this big decision....

If so there is a site called Apple Grab, and they offer free ipods and apple computers!

But what about the catch, its simple you have to refer more people to the site when they sign up you get a point and it only takes 4 points to get an Ipod nano.

it will sometimes also corrupt the songs wen i try play them on my laptop again...help me out please..i hav tried formatting it but still gives me the same problems. it is 512mb and i only have about 60 songs but i cant add anymore on and it is really gettin frustratin!!!
