depends on where they are - if its on the screen, try metal polish (they sell acrylic polish on ebay for phones - same stuff) try it out first on something before possibly damaging your zen..

Are the scratches on plastic?

didn't u buy a screen protector, i have the same mp3, and the 1st thing i bought for it was the screen protector and the case/wallet to protect it totally.
