I have the Zen Microphoto (wife's) and the Zen Vision M (mine) and I gave my father the Zen Sleek for Christmas.

All of us are happy with our players. Of the three, the nicest to use is the Zen Vision M, folllowed by the Microphoto, followed by the Sleek.

The Microphoto (8GB) is basically full with almost 1400 subscription music songs from Yahoo Music Unlimited To Go. (192kbps audio quality). I estimate the ZVM will hold 5000 (if I remove my videos, photos, and audio books). The 20GB Sleek will hold about 3500, give or take.

If you want storage, go Sleek or ZVM.

If you want compact and lightweight, go with the Microphoto. You could also check out the newly announced Zen V and Zen V Plus. Really small. Really compact. Flash memory based so it'll work for exercizing. Downside is it is max 4GB.

Get the Zen Sleek. I have it and I really like it. It has that nice large display and photos and everything are really clear. Also, it's durable and light. I would definitely recommend it. P.S. I'm glad you're not getting an iPod. They are way too expensive.
