I've seen the Panasonic DMC-LZ5EB-S which looks quite goo but a bit chunky. I'm wondering if there is anything smaller?

From reading reviews over the past couple of months, these are what seem to be the best cameras to buy right now. What would your list look like?

My daughter gave me this Kodak Digital camera to use for posting pictures on the ebay auction site.
But she said it would take her a couple of weeks to find the D Camera booklet & send to me. SO,
I am a dummy & do not understand the operation & procedures to use this type camera.
I plan on only using it for posting photos on the ebay auction site?
Does any one know in PLAIN ENGLISH step by step how to use & post photos on ebay with this Kodak easy share CX6230 Zoom Digital camera ?
Or where i could go on the internet for a plain english step by step procedure ?
Thank You.
Luke.

Well, I have a Kodak EasyShare C310, and I really don't like it. I'll be getting a new camera soon, and I was wondering if you all had any suggestions for a camera that fits the following needs:

I'd prefer the camera to be a Kodak. Even though I don't like my current Kodak, I've had good experiences with others. I also want something that takes good pictures that are clear even when I print them out larger. I need some sort of setting that allows me to take multiple snapshots with one push of the button. Optical zoom is also a must! I want to be able to record short videos with sound! I'm thinking with AT LEAST 5.0 megapixels, no less. I'd like some different scene modes, too. In general, I need a good, reliable camera for taking pictures of my friends, family, and pets.

Thanks!

I have had NOTHING but awful experiences with them! What was I thinking when I bought their camera? The day after I bought the camera, it broke. No joke! It just wouldn't function, and good ol' best buy wasn't going to refund my money, even though it was less than 24 hours after I bought the damn thing.
It's been in for repairs countless times. I just stopped caring, though.
The picture quality is AWFUL. It just sucks in general.
Does anyone else agree?

It is a Sony digital camera. I notice my cell phone does the same thing. How can I fix this (particularly on the Sony)? If it is not fixable, is there a digital camera that does not have this type of delay? I am sick of waiting for the perfect moment for a snapshot of my kids that is then missed because of the delay.

My family prints the pictures I email at 4x6 at a one hour photo place. I want to resize my snapshots (the everyday pictures) to a smaller file size (to save disk space) that will still print well for out-of-state family. My goal is to have only one file for each snapshot.
Does anyone have a suggested method, pixel ratio or resolution? I'm currently at 3072x2304 pixel dementions. I use Picasa2 for organization & PhotoshopCS for edits & cropping.

The camera lens is not working. When I switch it on the screen just shows the word 'Access' and doesn't let me click pics. The Sony service people say that something is wrong with the lens assembly. The LCD screen, flash and other parts are working fine. I would like to sell the camera because repairing it would be too expensive.

I have to buy a digital SLR for my work and I am totally lost/out of my depth.

I need to take photographs of rock cores that are in boxes from approximately 1.5m above them. The boxes will be on the floor with the camera fixed to a frame directly above. The total area that needs to be in the photo will measure appromiatey 1.10m by 1.5m.

As I am taking pictures of rock core the most important elements include resolution and the camera making the colours look realistic. The photos will be used for presentations and for reports.

It would need to be relatively durable as I work in the tropics - up to 40C/100F and 80-90% humidity and plenty of dust.

My boss would prefer 8MP or better.

Oh and one last thing. I have a budget of $750 US - I think this will have to include customs tax and shipping from the US.

Irealise this is a tough ask but if anybody can provide me with some advice or recommendations I would be very grateful.

Thanks

Chris

I'm on the market for a camera, and I really am interested in the touch screen cameras. I've settled between two.

I'm leaning towards the Pentax Optio T10 6 Megapixel with a 3 inch touch screen. Does anyone have any experience with it? It looks like a good camera.

If I want to spend more, there's a sony cybershot 10 megapixel with a 3 inch touch screen. Obviously, this is the better camera. Idk Which to go with going from an old 2 megapixel. Advice please?
