The Fuji E550 specs list it as taking "2AA or 1 NH-10". The NH-10 is a Fuji dual AA NiMH battery module that replaces two AA batteries. The is the same role as the Panasonic CR-V3. Both the CR-V3 and NH-10 are 3 V battery modules, but the pictures (links below) don't clearly show the same "+" and "-" geometry (the nipple and smooth end on a normal AA battery).

That said, the CR-V3 (a rechargable version is also available) is listed to replace AA batteries in a wide range of digital cameras. Unfortunately the list does not specifically name Fuji and simply says it will work in many others!.

Bottom Line: I strongly suspect the CR-V3 will work perfectly, but without a) trying it for physical compatibility, and/or b) checking with Fuji (or a knowledgable camera dealer) I can't say for sure.
